Sri Shanti Vardhak Education Society Bhalki came in to existence in 1968 as a result of the foresight and tireless efforts of His Holiness Dr. Channabasava Pattadevaru of Hiremath Samsthana Bhalki and Loknayak Dr. Bheemanna Khandre and Chairman Sri. Eshwar Khandre M.L.A. Bhalki, to provide quality education to youth of the region when there was no such facility exited. Bhalki is part of Bidar District which is most backward district of Karnataka both educationally and economically.

Shantivardhak B.Ed College is proposed to establish in the rural area of Bhalki taluk of Bidar District. Karnataka which is useful to poor and needy students of this area. The campus is located in the heart of the city and is about 1 km from Bus Stand. The College is willing to provide excellent opportunities to the students in pursuit of knowledge. The infrastructure viz., library and laboratory are well equipped, excellent method of teaching and has a cordial relationship between the students and teachers. Ample opportunities are being provided to the students to take part in curricular and co-curricular activities. The faculty members are well qualified, experienced and motivated.
